2. Participation, Consent, and Personal Responsibility
Participation in any Intimate Breath offering is voluntary.
Participants must be at least 18 years of age to participate in Intimate Breath offerings unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
Participants are responsible for their own choices, boundaries, consent, well-being, pace of participation, and level of engagement throughout the experience.
Participants may decline, modify, pause, or stop any exercise, practice, activity, touch exercise, movement practice, breathwork exercise, sharing process, or invitation at any time without explanation.
No participant is required to engage in touch, self-touch, emotional expression, personal disclosure, nudity, partner exercises, physical contact, or any other activity outside their consent.
Consent is understood as an ongoing process and may be withdrawn or changed at any time.
Participants are responsible for communicating their boundaries, limitations, needs, and consent as clearly as possible and for respecting the boundaries and consent of others.
While facilitators, assistants, and participants may support one another, each participant remains ultimately responsible for their own decisions, actions, well-being, and participation.

Participants agree to communicate when they become aware of circumstances that may significantly affect their ability to participate safely.
While Intimate Breath strives to create a supportive and responsible environment, participants acknowledge that they remain responsible for monitoring their own well-being, making appropriate decisions regarding participation, and seeking support when needed.

Participation takes place voluntarily and at the participant’s own responsibility.
6. Confidentiality
Personal information shared with Intimate Breath will be treated with care and confidentiality and will not be disclosed to third parties without permission, except where required by law or where there is a legitimate concern regarding safety, harm, or legal obligations.
Participants acknowledge that many Intimate Breath offerings take place in group settings. While facilitators may encourage confidentiality and respectful handling of personal information, Intimate Breath cannot guarantee that other participants will maintain confidentiality.
Participants are encouraged to share responsibly and to respect the privacy and confidentiality of others.
Participants are expected to respect the privacy, boundaries, and confidentiality of fellow participants.
Audio recordings, video recordings, photographs, screenshots, or other recordings of participants, sessions, exercises, group processes, online sessions, or workshop materials may not be made, shared, or distributed without the explicit permission of Intimate Breath and all individuals concerned.
Information regarding the collection, storage, and processing of personal data can be found in the Intimate Breath Privacy Policy.
7. Photography, Video, and Media
Intimate Breath may take photographs, video recordings, or other media during workshops, retreats, programs, festivals, events, and other offerings for educational, promotional, communication, website, newsletter, social media, and archival purposes.
Participants will be informed when photography or filming may take place and may be invited to indicate their media preferences before or at the start of the offering.
Participants may choose between:
-
Full Media Consent: consent to being photographed or filmed and to the use of identifiable images or footage by Intimate Breath.
-
Limited Media Consent: consent to being photographed or filmed, but identifiable images or footage will only be published after approval by the participant.
-
No Identifiable Media Consent: no consent to being photographed or filmed in ways where the participant is identifiable.
Intimate Breath takes participants' stated preferences seriously and will do its best to respect them. Participants who do not wish to appear in identifiable images are responsible for communicating this clearly and following any practical agreements established for the offering.
Participants who provide Full Media Consent acknowledge and agree that photographs and recordings may include authentic participation in the offering, including movement, touch-based exercises, emotional expression, relational practices, embodiment work, workshops, retreats, group activities, and other aspects of the participant experience.
Intimate Breath commits to using images and recordings with care, respect, and consideration for the dignity of participants and the context in which the material was created.
Intimate Breath does not intentionally photograph, film, or document participants during periods of full nudity, explicit sexual activity, or similarly private and intimate moments. Where offerings include optional nudity or a higher degree of physical exposure, photography and filming practices will be adapted accordingly to protect participant privacy and dignity.
Participants may withdraw consent for future use of identifiable images by contacting Intimate Breath in writing. Such withdrawal does not automatically apply to materials already published, distributed, printed, or otherwise used before the withdrawal was received.
8. Online Sessions
Some Intimate Breath offerings take place partially or entirely online.
Participants are responsible for ensuring they have access to an appropriate internet connection, device, software, and environment required for participation.
Participants are responsible for maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of their own environment when attending online sessions.
Intimate Breath is not responsible for interruptions, technical difficulties, internet failures, software failures, device malfunctions, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control that may affect participation.
Where reasonably possible, Intimate Breath will seek appropriate solutions in the event of significant technical difficulties.
9. Removal from Participation
Intimate Breath is committed to creating environments that support safety, consent, respect, and well-being for all participants.
Intimate Breath reserves the right to refuse participation, modify participation, remove a participant from an offering, or terminate participation where this is considered necessary for the well-being of the participant, the group, facilitators, assistants, or the integrity of the offering.
Reasons may include, but are not limited to:
-
repeated disregard for consent
-
repeated boundary violations
-
harassment
-
unwanted sexual behavior
-
threatening or abusive behavior
-
significant disruption of the group process
-
failure to follow essential agreements or safety instructions
-
participation under the influence of alcohol or other substances
-
circumstances where continued participation is assessed as unsuitable or unsafe
-
conduct that is incompatible with the purpose, agreements, or integrity of the offering
Where reasonably possible, concerns will be addressed through communication before removal. However, Intimate Breath reserves the right to take immediate action where deemed necessary.
Removal from participation does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund and standard cancellation and payment terms remain applicable.
10. Payment Terms
Participation in an Intimate Breath offering is confirmed upon receipt of the agreed payment, non-refundable deposit, or first installment.
Participants are responsible for paying the full fee associated with their place in the offering, regardless of attendance, participation level, personal circumstances, schedule changes, relationship changes, illness, or decisions to discontinue participation, except where otherwise stated in these Terms and Conditions.
Where payment plans are agreed, participants remain responsible for completing all scheduled payments.
Failure to attend part or all of an offering does not automatically reduce or remove payment obligations.
Intimate Breath reserves the right to suspend participation, withhold access to future sessions, or take appropriate steps to recover outstanding payments where payment obligations are not met.
Any exceptions, discounts, scholarships, assistant arrangements, payment plans, or special agreements must be agreed in writing.
10.1 Prices, VAT and invoicing
Unless otherwise stated, published prices are intended for private individuals and include VAT where applicable.
For organizations and businesses requesting an invoice with a valid VAT or organization number, prices will be quoted exclusive of VAT. Applicable VAT will be added, or reverse charge rules applied, in accordance with Swedish and applicable EU VAT regulations.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate invoicing and VAT information at the time of booking or invoice request.
11. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email.
Unless otherwise stated in writing for a specific offering, the following cancellation and refund terms apply.
11.1 Individual Sessions
If a client needs to cancel or reschedule an individual session, they must provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, the session fee remains due and no refund will be provided.
Where a client has paid for a package or series of sessions in advance, cancelled sessions may only be rescheduled if at least 48 hours’ notice has been given.
Prepaid individual sessions or packages must be used within 6 months of payment unless otherwise agreed in writing. After this period, unused sessions are forfeited.
A client may end their individual coaching or facilitation process at any time by notifying Intimate Breath in writing. Any outstanding fees remain due immediately. Refunds for prepaid future sessions are at the discretion of Intimate Breath.
Intimate Breath may end an individual client process where this is considered necessary due to safety concerns, inappropriate behaviour, boundary violations, conflict of interest, lack of suitability, or other relevant reasons. Where applicable, any prepaid sessions that will not take place may be refunded at the discretion of Intimate Breath.
11.2 Single Workshops and Events
Tickets for single-session workshops, trainings, and events may be cancelled up to 7 days before the start of the offering.
Where cancellation is made more than 7 days before the start date, participants may choose between:
-
a refund, excluding any ticketing, payment processing, administration, or service fees; or
-
a voucher or credit for the amount paid, valid for 12 months.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start of the offering are not eligible for a refund.
Participants may transfer their ticket to another person, subject to any requirements, suitability considerations, group balance considerations, or practical limitations relevant to the offering.
Ticketing, payment processing, administration, and service fees charged by third parties are non-refundable.
Failure to attend an offering does not create a right to a refund, voucher, credit, or transfer.
11.3 Retreats, Multi-Day Trainings, and Multi-Session Programs
The following cancellation terms apply to retreats, multi-day trainings, residential offerings, and multi-session programs, including The Liberation Journey, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
-
More than 3 months before the start date: full refund minus any non-refundable deposit communicated during registration, application, confirmation, or payment communication.
-
Between 3 months and 3 weeks before the start date: 50% refund of payments received, minus any non-refundable deposit communicated during registration, application, confirmation, or payment communication.
-
Less than 3 weeks before the start date: no refund.
Participation fees reserve a place within the offering. Participants acknowledge that Intimate Breath commits resources, preparation, venue costs, staffing, group composition, and facilitator time based on confirmed registrations.
Once an offering has started, participants remain responsible for the full participation fee, including any remaining installments, regardless of attendance, illness, personal circumstances, relationship changes, relocation, withdrawal from the offering, or decisions to discontinue participation.
Failure to attend part of an offering does not automatically create a right to a refund, credit, voucher, transfer, or reduction of payment obligations.
Participants may request to transfer their place to another suitable participant. Approval of any transfer remains at the discretion of Intimate Breath and may be declined where it would negatively affect the group, application process, suitability requirements, logistics, or overall integrity of the offering.
Where a non-refundable deposit has been agreed upon and communicated in writing, that deposit remains non-refundable and is excluded from any general cancellation or refund policy applicable to the offering.
Such deposits are intended to secure participation and to cover commitments and costs incurred by Intimate Breath in preparation for the offering.
11.4 Cancellation, Postponement, or Changes by Intimate Breath
Intimate Breath reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate, modify, or otherwise adjust an offering where this is considered necessary due to illness, safety concerns, venue issues, insufficient registrations, force majeure, legal requirements, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Participants will be informed as soon as reasonably possible of any significant changes affecting the offering.
Where an offering is postponed, rescheduled, relocated, or otherwise modified, Intimate Breath may offer an alternative arrangement, transfer, credit, voucher, alternative format, or other appropriate solution, depending on the circumstances.
Where an offering is cancelled entirely by Intimate Breath and no reasonable alternative is provided, participants will be entitled to a refund of amounts paid for the cancelled offering.
Changes to venue, schedule, facilitator team, accommodation arrangements, delivery format, program structure, assistants, timing, or other practical aspects of an offering do not automatically constitute cancellation of the offering and do not automatically create a right to a refund.
Intimate Breath is not responsible for travel costs, accommodation costs, lost income, childcare expenses, or other participant expenses incurred in relation to an offering.
11.5 Exceptions
Intimate Breath may, at its sole discretion, offer alternative arrangements, transfers, vouchers, credits, payment adjustments, partial refunds, or other solutions in individual circumstances.
Any exception granted by Intimate Breath is voluntary, applies only to the specific situation concerned, and does not create an obligation to provide similar arrangements in future circumstances.
Any exception to these Terms and Conditions must be agreed in writing.
12. Limitation of Liability
Participants acknowledge that they participate in Intimate Breath offerings voluntarily and at their own responsibility.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Intimate Breath shall not be liable for injuries, accidents, physical reactions, emotional distress, psychological responses, participant decisions, interpersonal conflicts, loss of opportunity, loss of income, indirect damages, or other consequences arising from participation in an offering.
Participants remain responsible for their own actions, choices, boundaries, well-being, physical condition, emotional state, and decisions before, during, and after participation.
Intimate Breath is not liable for outcomes resulting from participants' interpretation, application, or implementation of information, practices, insights, feedback, or experiences arising from participation.
Participants acknowledge that relational, embodied, emotional, experiential, and group-based work may involve uncertainty, vulnerability, physical activity, interpersonal interaction, emotional activation, and other experiences described in these Terms and Conditions.
Participants remain responsible for communicating relevant health information, limitations, concerns, injuries, boundaries, and changes in circumstances that may affect their participation.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.
13. Personal Property and Damage
Participants remain responsible for their personal belongings and property at all times during participation in any Intimate Breath offering.
Intimate Breath is not responsible for the loss, theft, damage, or misplacement of personal belongings, vehicles, equipment, electronic devices, valuables, clothing, or other personal property.
Participants are responsible for any damage they cause to venues, accommodation, equipment, property, materials, or the belongings of facilitators, assistants, venue staff, or other participants.
Where damage occurs, Intimate Breath reserves the right to seek reimbursement for reasonable repair, replacement, cleaning, restoration, or associated costs.
Participants are encouraged to take appropriate care of their belongings and to arrange their own insurance where relevant.
14. Force Majeure
Intimate Breath shall not be held responsible for delays, interruptions, modifications, postponements, cancellations, or inability to deliver an offering due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
-
serious illness or incapacity of the facilitator
-

-
other unforeseen events beyond reasonable control
In such circumstances, Intimate Breath reserves the right to modify, postpone, reschedule, relocate, partially deliver, or cancel an offering as deemed appropriate.
Where reasonably possible, Intimate Breath will seek a fair and appropriate solution, which may include a transfer, voucher, credit, rescheduled date, alternative format, partial refund, or full refund, depending on the circumstances.
Intimate Breath shall not be liable for travel expenses, accommodation expenses, lost income, childcare costs, or other indirect costs incurred by participants as a result of such circumstances.
15. Acceptance of Terms
By registering, booking, applying for, paying for, attending, participating in, or otherwise engaging with any Intimate Breath offering, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Participants acknowledge that these Terms and Conditions form part of the agreement between themselves and Intimate Breath.
Where a participant enters into an additional written agreement with Intimate Breath, including but not limited to assistant agreements, scholarship agreements, exchange agreements, or other program-specific agreements, those agreements shall apply alongside these Terms and Conditions. In the event of a conflict between documents, the specific written agreement shall prevail.
Intimate Breath reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time of registration, booking, application, or participation shall apply to that offering unless otherwise agreed in writing.
